"Age" of "Law and Economics" department is quite young (founded in 2012), it cannot be said about the level of maturity and professionalism of its staff, constantly striving for improvement in the process of participation in international, national, inter-university scientific and theoretical, scientific conferences, symposiums, round tables, publications in scientific journals and other publications, participation in scientific internships, training courses. Department pays great attention to scientific work. Teaching staff conducts research in the following directions:

• modern concept of juvenile justice;
• establishment of effective mechanisms to improve the competitive potential of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the context of the strategy "Kazakhstan - 2050";
• the constitutional foundations of judicial review: the concept and legal regulation.
