Department of Pedagogical specialties
Department of pedagogical specialties started its activities in the 2009-2010 academic year under the guidance of the doctor of pedagogical sciences, professor Turgunbayeva Botagul Altaevna - Excellence in Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (1995), Honored Worker of Education of Kazakhstan (2005), the best teacher of high school (2011).
Department from 2009 to 2013 provided training Masters and doctors in the following specialties:

- 6M010100 - Psychology
- 6M010200 - Defectology
- 6M010300 - Physical Culture and Sports

- 6D010300 - Pedagogy and Psychology
- 6D010200 - Pedagogy and methodology of elementary education
In 2013, a result of the reorganization of the Department was divided into two departments: pedagogical specialties and psychology and special education.
Currently, the Department provides training of the teaching staff in specialties such Masters and doctorate as:

- 6M010200 - Pedagogy and methodology of elementary education
- 6M010300 - Pedagogy and Psychology
- 6D010300 - Pedagogy and Psychology
- 6D010200 - Pedagogy and methodology of elementary education
Over the years the department has trained more than 300 masters of pedagogy and social sciences, 10 doctors PhD. Graduates of the department successfully implemented as professionals in educational institutions and higher educational institutions.
Since 2011, the MES solution at the Department of open Dissertation Council on thesis for the degree of "Doctor of Philosophy", where he successfully defended 28 doctoral graduates pedagogical specialties of universities in Kazakhstan.
Today, scientific and pedagogical potential of the department are 16 scientists, 10 of them are doctors, professors; 6 candidates, professors and art. teachers; 6 Excellence in Education of Kazakhstan; 3 Honored Worker of Education of Kazakhstan; 3 awarded the badge "For the development of science"; 1 medal named after I.Altynsarin; 3 Winners of the state grant "The best teacher of the university"; 1 medal awarded named after K.D.Ushinskii; 1 corresponding member of the IASP; 1 corresponding member of PAE; 1 corresponding member of EAE.
Major contribution to the development of the department were made by famous scientists - teachers A.A.Beysenbaeva, E.A.Urunbasarova, I.R.Halitova, A.S.Amirova, A.E.Mankesh, K.Zh.Aganina, M.A Absatova, B.M.Kosanov, A.B.Elkeeva etc.
High prestige and recognition received at the Department formed and widely known outside the university, scientific schools. An example is the school of doctor of pedagogical sciences , professor A.A.Beysenbaevoi . The main activities of the school are studying the problems of integration in education, spiritual and moral development , intercultural competence and tolerance of the individual.As part of the school annually creative meetings of its followers , to discuss topical issues of training of the teaching staff.
The teaching staff
The department operates a methodological workshop for faculty members, who for three years worked on "Psycho-pedagogical conditions acmeological implementation approach in the training of graduate and doctoral PhD».
The outcome of the work on this issue was the release of the monograph "Zhogarydan keyіngі bіlіmdegі akmeologiyalyk amal theory zhane tazhіribe." Since September 2013 work began on "Heterogeneity in postgraduate education" that is relevant pedagogical problem studying dialectical approach to equality and difference in education, where the Masters and Doctorate regarded as a heterogeneous environment requires special research.
