International double-degree diploma programs

University of Paris, Sorbonne (The Republic of France) has started implementation of international master program which is based on issuing double diplomas of France and Kazakhstan on the following educational programs:

• “International dialogue in the context of globalization” (6M020200-“International Relations”).
• “Management of changes in the modern world” (6M050700- “Management”)

On the 17 of September, 2013 University of Paris, Sorbonne (The Republic of France) and Abay Kazakh national pedagogical university signed a Memorandum of foundation of French university of Kazakhstan-Sorbonne. Now, citizens of Kazakhstan will be able to get prestige education of European curriculum without leaving the borders of the country.

Classes are taught mostly in French by the teachers of SPC.

From the 11 May, 2014, teachers of “French Alliance” will organize training courses of French language in c. Almaty at Abay KazNPU. Address of the university:

Application procedure

Master students who apply for the program, will pass:

• Complex testing in French language knowledge.
• Examination in the area of specialization.

Requirements of entrance to the master program:

• Diploma of a Bachelor degree
• Essay (motivation letter))
• Level of French language knowledge confirming his ability to pass an entrance exam

List of documents for the entrance:

• Statement addressed to the Rector (in required form);
• Essay (motivation letter);
• Copy of I Dcard;
• Application form of master program;
• Certified copy of Bachelor Degree Diploma;
• List of scientific works confirmed by the scientific secretary of university
• Certificate confirming health state in form № 086 –Y (X-Ray must be removed in Students' Health Center of c. Almaty);
• A copy of the labour book authorized by the employer (if applicable);
• Certificate of French language, T est de Franzais (TF –at least B1 level on reading and listening), Diploma d”Etudes en Langue francaise (DEFL, level B2), diploma Approfondi de Langue francise (DALF , level C1), T est de connaissance du francais (TCF – minimum 400 points). These certificates allow students to enter the program without passing French language testing.
• Letter which confirms his/her availability for an agreement and guaranties payment capability of study expenses abroad who applies for private form of education;
• Address reference;
• 6 photos sized 3x4;
• List of documents.
